I am now officially writing for the Examiner
Starting just a few days ago, I began officially writing for the Examiner as an independent contractor. Launched in 2008, Examiner is a dynamic entertainment, news and lifestyle network that serves more than 20 million monthly readers across the U.S. and around the world.

John Mottishaw modified a Namiki Falcon Resin fountain pen by sanding the pen tip, called the nib, extra fine and then adding some flexibility to it. By doing this John was able write in many different and beautiful styles, seen all over the world now in different art forms such as tattoos, posters, stickers, graffiti and more. I particularly love the sounds of this video, where you can distinctly hear the pen scraping and flowing across the pad. The ink that John used is Iroshizuku Tsuki-uo Night Sky which he demonstrates how it shades wonderfully.
Whiteboards are an easy way to write on a flat surface, and be able to then erase and write over the surface quickly and easily. However, they are not mobile, and over time it can cost money to purchase additional whiteboards and whiteboard markers. The emphasis really being though, whiteboards are not made to move around and typically are stationary, so in a school setting you may have one whiteboard in every classroom.
