Save money by syncing your Amex card to Twitter

American Express started a neat and new way to save money by using Twitter. If you have an Amex card, you can sync your Twitter account to your Amex account. Then if you tweet a hashtag (ex: #AmexBestBuy) for a special offer from that business, you can get that discount put back onto your Amex account given that you actually go and make that purchase.

Digital payments are finally about to come to fruition

I’ve been waiting a while for this. As soon as smart phones came around I thought digital payments would be a logical step in eCommerce. The first person to really take the bull by the horns on this is the co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey. He made it possible for vendors to take payments digitally with his Square mobile payments product which Visa has invested in.
