Live stream of TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2011 #TCDisrupt

If you are into tech and startups, then you should be attending the TC Disrupt in SF. But like me, many of you probably can’t make it to SF. So you can watch it live. I checked the TC Disrupt site and didn’t find a live stream; not sure why they don’t have it up on the site yet. But TC Disrupt starts today through Wednesday. Video of the Brammo motorcycle that TC just gave away

The bike retails at around $9k, so it was a nice give away for the Disrupt.

According to the Business Insider (BI), AOL has a new problem; that being Michael Arrington. Arrington runs the TechCrunch tech blog which AOL bought last year.  AOL also owns another big tech blog Engadget. Both great tech blogs in their own right and worthy of subscribing and reading. They both also have a huge following.

AOL acquires About.me

Yesterday, TechCrunch announced that their parent company, AOL has just acquired About.me. The fairly new start up, just launched last week but per an interview with TechCrunch, was acquired back in November by AOL which they just made public yesterday.

About.me is a simple user interface which gives people a space on the web which they can personalize to show off what they are about, an online resume if you will.
