The 3Doodler is the first of it’s kind. It’s a pen, but not quite what you are thinking. As you normally would use a pen to write, instead of ink coming out of it you can “write” with plastic, and literally draw in 3D form to create abstract art or even complex designs.
3D printers are a wonderful thing. You can literally print and create objects out of nothing, with do it yourself printers from your own home. 3D printing is a new technology, but is booming in popularity simply because of anything you can print. Being able to replicate a three-dimensional object that you hold in your hands by printing it on a printer might seem like a far fetched idea from the future, but it’s actually becoming a reality. It’s called 3D printing, and you may have heard of it recently, and is becoming increasingly more popular these days by hobbiysts.
