The world’s largest flying paper airplane is 45 feet long

At the Pima Air & Space Museum, a team of engineers designed and built a 45 foot long paper airplane that flew in the Arizona desert, which makes it the world’s largest all-paper flying airplane. One of the engineers is 12 year old Arturo who won the Great Paper Airplane Fly-Off on January 14, 2012, and he played a key role in building the gigantic paper airplane.

Zim and Zou’s colored paper art gives electronics a retro look

Zim & Zou is a french graphic design studio based in Nancy, France. The studio proposes a contemporary approach of design thanks to a mix of different fields such as paper sculpture, installation, graphic design, illustration and webdesign. Their latest project is taking colored paper and turning electronics into retro looking art. It’s really amazing the time that was put into this project, which took a year to make in total.

The thinnest cell phone ever

This new concept device is called the Paper Phone. It’s thin as paper and is bendable.  It’s not fully developed and is just a concept right now, but shows how thin we can possibly get in the future with technology.  I love the slimness of it, but I really don’t like the idea of bending to use it.  I would still like to “touch” to perform actions.
