The best quote of the 2012 election: #Romnesia

This may go down in history of the 2012 Elections as the best quote. At a campaign rally in Fairfax Virginia, President Obama delivered a line that may just have sealed Mitt Romney’s fate. Where Romney has been as usual flip-flopping on topics and not using his recollection to the best of his ability, Obama coined the phrase “Romnesia.”

Mitt and Obama, what does Google say?

If you are aren’t sure who exactly to cast your vote for this coming November, why not ask Google? I mean, who are these people really? Don’t worry, Google has all the answers. I think my favorite though is President Obama may just be an alien.

You’re doing it right, President Obama

President Obama knows how to work the Internet. He is on Reddit right now, doing an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with Redditors. This is pretty damn cool, and a neat way for Obama to show he is in tune with the regular people of America. Mr. President, you are doing it right!

Obama implies ACTA enforcement during SOTU speech

It’s no secret that President Obama approves of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), since the U.S. has signed the agreement along with several other countries in 2011. If you aren’t familiar with ACTA, you need to get familiar with it, fast. The premise of ACTA is to combat piracy and counterfiet goods, however with all the undermining issues with the agreement it’s hard to think that such an agreement would ever be signed on by Obama and the U.S.

Who won today: Twitter, Facebook or Google?

Today was a big day for social media. Both Twitter and Facebook held big press events on the same day around the exact same time. I actually ended up watching the Facebook press event which they announced the new Video Calling one-to-one chat option instead of the Twitter Townhall with President Obama. I kind of regret that now in hindsight. So I am left wondering — did many people like myself make a choice in which event they monitored or did you maybe toggle back and forth?

Osama bin Laden dead, celebration ensues

Last night as I was getting ready for the upcoming week and getting ready to call it a night, I saw breaking news that President Obama would address the nation.  I thought, this must be serious, 10:30pm (EST) on a Sunday night.  Strange.  Maybe it’s about Libya, but thats not breaking enough to happen late on a Sunday.  Speculation started coming in, it’s about national security.  This can’t be good I thought. As time went on, Obama finally came to address the nation somewhere around 11:30pm.

Filmmaker Spike Lee was caught using his iPad to photograph President Barack Obama at the National Action Network’s Keepers of the Dream awards gala in New York on April 6, 2011.  In a rare situation, it looks like Lee was the fan and appeared to be a bit star struck when he met Obama.

Pres. Obama State of the Union & exclusive interview live via YouTube

Tonight at 9pm President Obama will address the nation to deliver the State of the Union. You can watch it live via YouTube here.  Additionally, you can ask questions for President Obama which selected questions will be asked to him in an exclusive interview with YouTube on January 27.  A cool thing about the questions are they can be voted up/down, so I am assuming that may play into which questions get asked.
