I am sure most are familiar with VH1 Roc Docs, which is a series of documentaries that show on the VH1 channel. And I can’t wait for Downloaded, which is a documentary on the rise, and fall, of Napster.

I am not so sure if he will be so proud of his most recent project though. Scorsese is featured in a new Apple commercial for Siri, Apple’s voice activated assistant.
Dora the Explorer has been one of every child’s favorite TV characters in recent years. But Dora has been on TV for a while now, and well, she has grown up a lot since the last time you have seen her. Over the weekend before seeing the movie Brave, they had a trailer for Wreck-It Ralph, which looks like it’s going to be a really good animated movie, with a few of your favorite video game characters that you might remember from when you were younger.
How freaking cool are these Avengers USB drives!? The flash storage drives are made by InfoThink, which is a company in China. They are selling the drives for around $899 Yuan, which is about $140 USD. The drives can hold 4GB or 8GB each, are made from metal alloy, are waterproof and only weigh about 2 ounces.
I saw the Avengers last weekend and the movie was amazing, and has the box office results to prove it. The Avengers are breaking all kinds of records. To date, they have already made $1 billion globally. So, it’s no wonder that the Avengers comic illustrations are coming out of the woodwork, with some real gems. A movie short has been made in honor of the classic arcade game Pac-Man. This one created by James Farr, which is part of the Yellow Sphere Project, takes the classic game and adds a little twist to it to make it their own. The graphics are neat, but since it’s just a movie short, there is much left to be desired. I love Pac-Man, but unless it’s made into a feature film with a big budget, the movie shorts will always be lacking. At least it isn’t is bad as this one though.
In Back to the Future II, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) goes into the future to help his future children, on another adventure as the sequel to the first Back to the Future. The sequel takes place in the year 2015, and in the movie it features what is now the iconic hoverboard that McFly rides around on like a skateboard but hovers over ground. Well, it looks like the hoverboard is going to be made available three years early, starting tomorrow.
Wow, on the heels of the SOPA protest which is heavily related to online piracy, today come to find out the FBI has just shut down the major file sharing service MegaUpload. Seven people from the online service have been charged by the FBI, and as of this writing, the entire website is offline.
I don’t think I have ever seen a life size Star Wars cake that looked this detailed and delicious at the same time. The cake in question is a Storm Trooper cake made by Amanda Oakleaf Cakes, with the Storm Trooper weighing in at 300 lbs and standing 6 feet 4 inches tall - wowzers!
Remember Wall-E, the robot that that was programmed to clean up trash on earth in the Pixar animated film back in 2008? He was so adorable that the film was a huge hit, grossing in over $521 million worldwide and won a few awards too. Many have been infatuated with with Wall-E ever since, and according to Pondly, one unknown Russian builder took it upon himself to build from scratch an extremely detailed, working case modification of Wall-E. This may be the best case mod I have seen.
While on the recent subject of Batman and the Batcave, have you seen the History of the Batmobile from Car Insurance? It’s pretty neat as it covers the entire timeline of the famous bat-wheels from inception to current and all the changes and transformations it has gone through. When you think about it, it doesn’t seem like there would be a lot, but with over 70 years of the Batmobile there have been many changes to it, both small and large.
