The numbers don’t lie. Apple’s finally starting to hit a peak and not rise at the same pace as they did in years past. Ever since 2007 and the introduction of the iPhone, Apple’s sales and stock has done nothing but skyrocket. But in this past year, results have been disappointing.
After Apple’s big win in it’s patent war, Samsung was left holding the bag having to pay Apple $1.05 billion dollars for copying the Apple iPhone and iPad designs. Now Samsung is finally able to fight back.

The Chameleon Clock is a clever iOS application that uses the rear facing camera to display the ‘background’ of the device, giving the illusion that the device is see-through, while displaying the time right on the screen. The camera uses a live feed to display whatever is behind it, so I’d imagine it uses up a good bit of the battery. The clock app retails in iTunes for $.99 cents, so not too shabby for a neat application that you can use to fool your friends with. Your iPhone apps are made for your mobile phone, right? Well, not according to the Sticky App designer. The Sticky App is a sticky notepad design favored after your favorite iOS apps. Now you can leave a note on your fridge for example, on your calendar app. It’s a neat little design to bring your apps to real life while keeping them functional.
Wait, fried gadgets? Yes, that’s right. Henry Hargreaves is an art and fashion photographer who likes to create new mediums for his photography. One of which was to fry up some gadgets like iPhones, iPads and laptops to see how they fair and post the results on his Tumblr blog. The results, well you can see for yourself. Google finally gets to step into the realm of iOS web browsing. I am very happy about this! Google’s web browser, Google Chrome is now available in Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad. It’s in the App Store now, just search for Chrome.
Today is the start of the Google I/O event in San Francisco. One of the big rumors of the event would be if Google is really introducing their own tablet to the market, which would compete with the iPad and more recently, with the Microsoft Surface. Although Google has not officially announced the Google tablet at I/O, an image and video have already been leaked.
If you’re a fan of Banksy, Superheroes or just art in general and you own a Macbook or an iPad, you should enjoy these decals from Mac Modify. I like them all, but the Superman and Darth Vader are my favorites. Since these are made specifically for Macs which are 13 inches wide, most should fit the iPad (which is 9.5 inches wide) but in some cases may need to be cut to fit, but it still would work and would look pretty darn good.
Microsoft may have just changed the tablet game with a single device that looks to compete with Apple’s iPad, and by the way things are looking so far, it has a very good chance at hitting Apple where it hurts. Microsoft just unveiled it’s latest gift to humanity, called the Surface.
Most geeks have some sort of toy accessory by their computer. Maybe it’s a robot, gadget or some sort of knick knack, and they are cute, but wouldn’t it be neat to have something that has personality and a life of it’s own?
Breaking news! Ok not really breaking, but an interesting catch by a reader of Gizmodo who got a glimpse of the new iOS6 update. In the update in the emoticons section, there are two new additions: a gay male couple and a lesbian female couple, who are pictured inset holding hands.
