Using geo-tagged tweets to map out city paths

Programmer Eric Fischer who likes to map data in interesting ways just finished a new project mapping out tweets from Twitter. Using public tweets from Twitter’s API that were geo-tagged in specific cities like New York for example, he was able to map out ‘point-to-point’ trips which show the most traversed paths taken by those Twitter users.
