Apple gets with the times and adds gay and lesbian emoticons
Breaking news! Ok not really breaking, but an interesting catch by a reader of Gizmodo who got a glimpse of the new iOS6 update. In the update in the emoticons section, there are two new additions: a gay male couple and a lesbian female couple, who are pictured inset holding hands.
Well I’m sure this will raise some eyebrows. DC Comics is relaunching the Green Lantern series, which has been a staple of comic book history for the past 70 years. Green Lantern is coming back, or shall I say coming out, and he is arriving with a twist.
