I’m pumped! Domo-Kun, the most lovable and cutest character ever is coming to iPhones for a fun game experience called Domo: The Journey. As most are aware, I love Domo, so this is extra fun for me. I hope the game lives up to my expectations (and others of course).
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….there were these Angry Birds, and now they have collided with Star Wars, which will bring possibly the most epic Angry Birds game to date: Angry Birds Star Wars. Coming November 8th, Rovio will be releasing their most prized game. I can’t wait. Amazon is the world leader in online commerce. You can purchase almost anything from Amazon, and have been able to for years. Now Amazon thinks that social gaming is the next logical step to make money from, which would be through game app purchases. I am not so sure if I agree with Amazon here, however they have the resources and means to make it happen, so why not.
Super Mario get’s animated using Post-it notes in this extremely creative and fun stop motion video. The video was created by Final Cut King. There is also a behind the scenes look at how this stop motion video was made, which utilized “hundreds and hundreds” of hand-made Super Mario images.
Over the weekend before seeing the movie Brave, they had a trailer for Wreck-It Ralph, which looks like it’s going to be a really good animated movie, with a few of your favorite video game characters that you might remember from when you were younger.
Yikes! This is not good news for the Google social network, Google+. Games just came to Google+ just ten months ago, and now it seems there is not enough incentive for game devs to continue supporting their games on Google+.
Rovio the maker of the popular game Angry Birds just released a video that outlines they are partnering up with the Philadelphia Eagles for this upcoming NFL season. Naturally, the birds are going to be on the Eagles roster. In the press release it says “this is Rovio’s first team sports partnership globally, and Eagles fans can look forward to plenty of Angry Birds fun during the 2012 season. Stay tuned for more details!”
Google created a new game on it’s social network called A Google A Day, which is a daily search puzzle that is solved using nothing but Google Search to find the answers. It’s a clever way to get users to challenge themselves, and also improve your Google Search skills by learning the best ways to use the search engine.
I am actually really excited about this. Rovio, who made the blockbuster app Angry Birds is finally expanding on their brand with a new line of apps, starting out with Amazing Alex.
Just released on iTunes for the iPhone and iPad comes one of the best movies ever made, which is now available as an app created by Fuse Powered Inc., who worked with Universal Pictures to take the iconic mobster figure Tony Montana and bring him to our mobile devices.

This video called Go Right has a double meaning to it; certainly more meaning than what’s on the surface of video game characters always going ‘right’ during game play. It’s a nice catch from Buzzfeed. And with the music by Michael Nyman, and the great game compilation, it’s a winner in my book. Enjoy.
A movie short has been made in honor of the classic arcade game Pac-Man. This one created by James Farr, which is part of the Yellow Sphere Project, takes the classic game and adds a little twist to it to make it their own. The graphics are neat, but since it’s just a movie short, there is much left to be desired. I love Pac-Man, but unless it’s made into a feature film with a big budget, the movie shorts will always be lacking. At least it isn’t is bad as this one though.
This may very well be the funniest thing I have seen in a while. It’s also a travesty at the same time. I’m sure most of you have seen the commercials for Kinect Star Wars, which the game looks bad ass and I really want to play it when it comes out. As part of the game, there is a mini-game within it for Dance Central with the Star Wars characters. This is where things get epic.
If you are into Role Playing Games and like that old school Final Fantasy slash Zelda-esque type of game, then you should enjoy this Japanese style RPG called Americana Dawn. The game is a historical fantasy that takes place in the 18th Century during the French and Indian War revolution which has a very detailed story line and features.
