Don’t worry about syncing Foursquare and Tumblr on “Not” Google Plus

Poor Google Plus. They got absolutely no love from College Humor in their new video. It is kind of funny and I totally get that the number of social networks is getting out of control. One thing about Google Plus is that they don’t allow syncing (not yet at least), so you don’t have to worry about syncing your Foursquare or Tumblr on the real Google Plus.

In NYC, April 16th has been declared Foursquare Day

No, this is not a joke and yes, this is a real holiday.  Mike Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City has officially declared that April 16 will be Foursquare Day.  The proclamation is in honor of all the startups in the NYC area that are “thinking big, creating new jobs, and leading the global economy.” This includes of course Foursquare.  This is the first social media holiday of it’s kind.  This also opens the doors for additional holidays.  I am thinking that Tumblr is in NYC, so they need a holiday too!  Since Bloomberg is the Mayor of NYC, does this make him the official Mayor of Foursquare?
