MYO, the next generation of gesture control
Wired controllers. Wireless controllers. Hands free motion controls. So naturally what would be next? How about another kind of motion control, but one that doesn’t confine you to a single area.

I must admit, this is a really cool idea (pun intended!). Anyone that lives in an area where it gets cold enough in the winter to have to wear winter gloves knows handling your smartphone is no easy task. Since most mobile devices are touchscreens, we all know gloves and mobile devices don’t play well together.
Back in the day I would have my boombox sitting in my bathroom where I would put in a CD, or listen to the radio while taking a shower. Times have changed, and so has our technology. No longer do people use boomboxes, they use their mobile devices to stream music. Getting good music in the shower with you with good sound, without damaging your device is a risk at best. So why risk it when you can use a waterproof music player right in the shower with you.
There is an interesting kickstarter project for an R/C car that can be controlled using Bluetooth technology that will allow you to drive the car with your Android device. The car is called BlueDrone and all you will have to do is download a free app from the Android Market and sync it to the car to use it.
