Look at this Instagram (Nickelback Parody)

One of my all time favorite apps (and now website) gets parodied. But it’s hard to not find the humor in this, especially for those over-sharers, which we are all guilty of at some point or another I’m sure. Low-fi, Low-fi…please somebody help me get this song out of my head now!

Create disposable phone numbers with the Burner app

In the popular HBO TV series The Wire, drug dealers would get pre-paid cell phones to make deals on and then get rid of the phones so quickly that the feds couldn’t get a wire tap in place fast enough to track/listen to their calls. These temporary phones were called Burners. Now, a new app called Burner is available which enables iPhone users to create temporary phone numbers that can be disposed of after a single use, or multiple uses.

Amazon is the world leader in online commerce. You can purchase almost anything from Amazon, and have been able to for years. The Chameleon Clock

The Chameleon Clock is a clever iOS application that uses the rear facing camera to display the ‘background’ of the device, giving the illusion that the device is see-through, while displaying the time right on the screen. The camera uses a live feed to display whatever is behind it, so I’d imagine it uses up a good bit of the battery. The clock app retails in iTunes for $.99 cents, so not too shabby for a neat application that you can use to fool your friends with. Or if you want, you can check out the Chameleon Clock Tumblr Blog to see how it’s being used by others.
