If you have ever contacted sites like Tumblr, Twitter, Groupon, Sony Music, Sears and many others, then you may want to pay attention to the most recent hacking scare which is with Zendesk. Zendesk provides customer service software and management for many organizations, outsourcing support and providing an out of the box solution to those that need to support their customers.
Hacked: Why you might want to change your Twitter password
Over the weekend Twitter revealed that last week they were hacked, and that only a “very small percentage” of users were affected by this hack. Well, I don’t call 250,000 users very small, but since the user base is so large to Twitter this was a good spin to make it seem insignificant.

Fit over 140 characters into Twitter cleanly using Tall Tweets
As most of you already know by now, if you are using Twitter you cannot fit more than 140 characters into each tweet; this is one of their flagship features. If you don’t know this, maybe you are still using Friendster? I am hoping this is common sense here, so let’s continue on.

The photo wars continue to be no-less than dramatic, with Twitter now adding their own photo filters to their mobile apps on Android and Apple only days after Instagram said they were pulling their photo feed from Twitter. Google+ exceeds 500 million users on it’s social network
It’s been a minute since I have talked about Google+. Not much since summer has been going on with Google’s social network. They are making minor changes here and there, but as time has gone on I have seen less and less from the network. Activity such as re-shares have gone down, comments have gone down, and the amount of people that have “circled” me has slowed down.

New Honda Accords will have Facebook and Twitter integrated dashboards
Honda has coined it HondaLink, which integrates several social services directly into the dashboard of the new 2013 Honda Accord and Honda Crosstour. HondaLink will be using the Aha mobile app service to take these services and display them in the Honda vehicles.
