Impersonating someone online in CA is now a crime

It’s a new day, a new year and a new law.  If you live in California then this applies to you.   The new law called “E-Personation” which becomes effective today Jan 1, 2011, authored by Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, makes online impersonation, when it seeks to harm someone, illegal.
