Tumblr adds it’s stamp of approval to blogging analytics tool

Blogging on Tumblr just got a lot easier. A big part of blogging (for serious bloggers) is tracking analytics. For the most part, Google Analytics (GA) does a good job of this, but specifically for Tumblr it falls short. GA was not built for Tumblr, so at no fault of their own, Tumblr users are often times left wondering, how many reblogs do I have, how many likes do my posts get, which posts are the most popular, and so on. This will all soon change with Union Metrics.

Today Google announced their brand new beta In-Page Analaytics, “Visual context for your Analytics data”. Make sure you watch the video. This is pretty amazing stuff.
