Genius idea: The Invisible Bike Helmet

Helmets are the most important accessory when riding a bike. But to some, their too cool for helmets and would rather risk injury then be caught wearing one. So what if you could have an invisible helmet? That’s what two students from Hövding wondered, who designed and created the Invisible Bike Helmet.

The helmet isn’t much of a helmet until it’s needed. It’s basically an airbag for your head. Just like when you are driving a car and get into an accident, on impact the car airbag deploys and protects your head/body from being injured. It’s the same concept, but for a bike helmet.

In the form of stylish neck-wear that you zip up, the Invisible Bike Helmet lays in wait keeping you looking cool but staying protected. If you get into an accident, the helmet airbag will deploy around your head keeping it protected from injury. This invention definitely gets two thumbs up from me!
