Stop what your doing, and get your Outlook.com email address now
Microsoft is looking to get back into the email game big time. And now is your chance to get the desired email address you always wanted, like maybe your real name, pseudoname or brand name with the @outlook.com email address. Microsoft is taking it’s experience, both successes and failures of Hotmail and creating a Gmail competitor. After setting up my accounts, it’s impressive and I may want to end up using it as my primary email, however I would like to test it further.
Go to Outlook.com, and create an account. It’s easy to do and you may want to scoop up your email address now before it’s taken. Some of the key features I noticed are email search, which Google is very good at so if Microsoft has a good search function as well for email, it’s a win for them. Microsoft is also bringing folders back from the dead, thanks to Google which I am happy about because I was never a fan of not being able to organize my email without folders. The ads on the right are very heavy, so there are some pro’s and con’s so far.
