View Instagram right in your web browser

If you’re like me you love Instagram and often times find yourself checking your mobile device to check out Instagram. But when I am on my desktop, sometimes I don’t want to fiddle around with my mobile device (in my case iPhone4S). So checking Instagram on my desktop would be pretty sweet to be able to do.

Sure there are websites that use the Instagram API like Gramfeed or Webstagram to bring Instagram to the web. But why bother going to a website when you can just click an icon in your browser and boom - you have the official Instagram. I prefer this option, because it’s fast and easy and at a quick glance I can check my Instagram feed, double click to like photos just like on Instagram or check out the Popular feed.

For this latter option I like to use Instagram for Chrome, which is a Chrome extension that puts a little Instagram icon into my toolbar for easy photo checking anytime you want. For those of you on Instagram, you can follow me @davidshares.
