Beam me up, Samsung

I have been waiting five years for this. Ever since the first iPhone where you could watch videos, I have been wondering, when will mobile devices include a projector to broadcast what your watching onto a wall to watch as a TV. It has finally happened, but not by Apple unfortunately.

Samsung is the hero here, and I imagine depending on how this is received, other mobile makers won’t be far behind. It should be something that I would assume Apple will have soon; wishful thinking of course.

What I am talking about is the new Samsung Galaxy Beam. It’s a combination of the regular Samsung Galaxy mobile phone but has one major key feature - the “beam” as Samsung calls it, which according to Mashable is an ultra-bright 15-lumen projector, which lets you project a 50-inch wide image on a wall! Why Apple hasn’t done this yet is beyond me. Plus it will put the iPhone flashlight (camera flash) to shame I am sure. This is also an additional blow to the television, as now I should be able to turn my phone into a TV in seconds. Will I switch to a Samsung though, ha, probably not. I’ll wait for Apple.
