Random Fact: 25% of Wolfram Alpha searches comes from Siri

As part of a NY Times post on the updated and new premium services for Wolfram Alpha, the computational search engine, they let out a tidbit of information that 25% of all searches on the search engine derive from Siri. Siri as you know is the Apple intelligent voice assistant which just debuted with the iPhone 4S a few months ago.

For the new premium services on Wolfram Alpha, you will be able to search using other input methods such as images and files, have interactive results and download the output data for use later. According to the Times, Wolfram Alpha has grown to 200 staff members.

Wolfram Alpha curates the web for reliable data sources which plugs into their search engine which uses Mathematica and other computational algorithms to display data based on your search queries, which is sets it apart from other sites such as Google or Bing.
