League of Legends gamer dies in cafe and nobody takes notice
According to a report from Kotaku, a gamer in Taipei, Taiwan was playing the multi-player game League of Legends in an Internet cafe for several hours before dying. He laid dead for nine hours before anyone noticed that there was a dead body next to them in the cafe.
The gamer, Chen Rong-yu had checked into the Internet cafe as many do in that region to play PC-games. It’s commonplace for gamers to be in these cafe’s for hours on end. So when others saw him there, it was somewhat normal.
Apparently the police report says that Rong-yu may have died due to cardiac arrest because of blood clots formed due to a combination of cold temperatures, exhaustion, and lack of movement. It’s certainly a sad case. It’s also a reminder to all gamers to get up every once in a while and stretch those legs.
Who knew that League of Legends is a killer PC-game, literally.
