Get help learning to code, for free
Coding is always something I have been interested in. I am not a very good programmer in the least, but I like to write HTML and CSS codes. If I could improve my JavaScript and learn more coding languages, it would be something I would really be interested in. Part of the issue is finding the time to learn, and taking classes can be costly.
I saw this blog post from Fred Wilson and thought it would be perfect to sign up for. You can sign up for free to Code Year, which will send you a new interactive programming lesson each week, and their claim is you’ll be building apps and web sites before you know it. Sounds good, right? All it takes is to sign up by email which I just did. If you don’t want to wait for the email lessons, you can start now with Code Academy which has interactive lessons.
While on the subject of learning to code, I recently came across another free resource. This one is just as good trust me. You can get an entire free course lesson from Harvard, in Computer Science. The whole thing is online on the Harvard website, available now for you to start learning. Isn’t that great? 2012 should be a good year to learn and improve on your coding!
