Please save us, Zynga’s FarmVille is going to be made into a movie

Word on the Internet is that Zynga is in talks with the makers of Toy Story to create an animated movie based off of the popular Facebook game FarmVille. The premise of the game is to build a farm by planting trees, harvesting crops and tending to livestock.

If a movie comes out based solely on FarmVille, let me be clear, it’s going to suck horribly and what the fuck are the makers of Toy Story thinking!? Now, if it is based loosely on FarmVille, who know’s, it could be great. When I say loosely I am thinking of the movie RIO, which was based very loosely off of the game Angry Birds. RIO was actually a good movie, so this could work.

They are probably just attempting to ride the tail of Zynga who is synonymous with Facebook to help drive movie sales. It will also be a big revenue generator for Zynga. This could really be huge for them if this pans out. By the way, I scored the EXCLUSIVE New Movie Trailer for FarmVille the Movie. Looks like a great movie, yah?
