The autopsy of Notorious BIG has finally been released providing new details on his murder

It’s been fifteen years since the late, great, Christopher Wallace aka Notorious BIG (Biggie) left this earth, after being gunned down in front of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles after a party celebrating the 11th Annual Soul Train Music Awards in 1997.

Biggie’s murder has been shrouded in controversy, secrecy and unimaginable red tape and politics since his death which has led to no official arrest of the murderer to this day. Even with the remarkable politics surrounding his death, it hasn’t stopped the murderer from being identified by the main detective. Wardell Fouse aka Darnell Bolton aka Poochie was recently named as the shooter of Biggie.

And today, after all this time, the Los Angeles County Coroner has unsealed the 23-page autopsy report of Christopher Wallace detailing his wounds and cause of death. In the report embedded below, it says one gun shot hit Biggie’s left forearm and traveled down to his wrist while a another gun shot hit him in the back and exited his body through his left shoulder. Another gun shot hit his left thigh and traveled through to his inner thigh before glancing off his scrotum. Although these shots were all brutal, they were not the fatal shot that took Biggie’s life.

Gun shot wound “#4” as labeled in the report, says the bullet entered Biggie’s abdomen-chest; perforating his colon, liver, heart and upper lobe of his left lung, finally resting in his left should area, proving to be the fatal shot.

Other interesting findings in the report show just how morbidly obese Biggie was, weighing 395 pounds at the time of this death. As one of his most famous verses went, Biggie rapped “Heart throb never, black and ugly as ever.” No drugs or alcohol were found is his system at the time of his death.
