Microsoft is taking it’s experience, both successes and failures of Hotmail and creating a Gmail competitor. After setting up my accounts, it’s impressive and I may want to end up using it as my primary email, however I would like to test it further.

According to multiple sources familiar with Apple’s new iPhone 5 release, Reuters is confirming the rumors that the new iPhone 5 will indeed have a much smaller bottom port connection. Changing from the wider and standard 30-pin port to a much smaller 19-pin port.

Google adds advanced calculator to search results

You may not have noticed this yet, but overnight Google rolled out a new math function in search results. In the past if you typed 4+4 you would get the equation and answer shown, but now Google displays a fancy calculator in addition to the answer. So now right in Google you can do some advanced math. You can type the equation right into the Omnibox (search bar) to get the results, or go directly to Google.com and type the equation there to get it to come up. Alternatively if you just type “calculator” into the search, it will come up that way as well.

No water needed: How to put out fire with sound

It’s a simple concept really. All you need are two very loud speakers on both sides of a fire. Put on some Nicki Minaj, turn the bass up super high so you can hear that boom, badoom, boom, and watch the flames extinguish using physics. The flames are suppressed because the sounds increase air speeds, and the combustion thins and the temperature drops thus making the flames go out.

If there is one thing that everyone can agree on that is a lacking about Instagram is that it’s missing an official website for it’s users.
