Top 12 iPhone Apps for 2010
I have a lot of apps on my iPhone.  Maybe 100 or so. But many of them I only use once in a while, for reference or a game maybe that might play every so often.  But there are a core of iPhone apps that I use every day and/or are my favorites.  Some I use multiple times per day (*cough Twitter cough*).  I listed them below. These are my top 12 for 2010 most used apps. Enjoy. If you have any that...

The World's Largest Cave (photos)
When I think of caves I typically think of three things: Spelunking.  I love that word for some reason, it’s just really cool sounding. It’s also known as Caving.   Basically, it’s when you go exploring in caves. Something that is interesting, exciting but scary at the same time.  It would really suck to get stuck in some cave where no one can save you, ya? I also think about...

WikiLeaks Debate: CNN gets ass handed to them...
In a televised discussion on WikiLeaks and Julian Assange with CNN, Fran Townsend and Glenn Greenwald - I would say it’s safe to say that Glenn Greenwald taught CNN a thing or two about journalism.  It’s sad that CNN doesn’t even know what journalism is.  Watch the vid and you decide for yourself.

Is the iPad 2 coming out in 2011? (video)
Japanese blog Macotakara got their hands on a 2nd generation iPad case which gives the impression that the new iPad will be slightly smaller with some additional modifications to it.   You can be the judge for yourself, just watch the video.   But I am sure as we head into 2011 there will be lots more to come.  Turn your speakers up too, the video has great music made by Zerosospiro. via Mac...

The beer cannon from heaven (video)
Now this is a smart use of time!  Some guy had a genuis idea to build a beer firing cannon out of his old mini-fridge which is controlled with an iPhone.  It appears to work great too. I would love one of these, wonder if it will ever make it to mass production :) via Engadget

Cool photos of elephants playing in the snow
Call me what you want, but I have never seen elephants playing in the snow before.  Have you?   You might think I’m silly, and don’t kill me, but I didn’t know they even played in the snow!  I just figured elephants = hot weather.  I know, I’m sorry.  After seeing these photos just published by the Huffington Post I immediately fell in love with the photos.  I love...

Lightning captured by x-ray camera
“The first x-ray images of a lightning strike have been captured by a, well, lightning-fast camera” scientists said via the National Geographic. The lightning was captured using a 1500 pound camera.   The camera created by Dwyer’s graduate student Meagan Schaal—consists of an x-ray detector housed in a box about the size and shape of a refrigerator.  The box is lined with lead...

Yesterday I shared a great story about Leo who has autism and how the iPad literally has changed his life for the better.   Here is another great story about a father who wanted better for his son Victor who has Pitt Hopkins Syndrome.  The disorder causes delays in cognitive abilities, motor skills, social development and language skills, which makes communication very difficult. What is Net Neutrality?
Net Neutrality has been coming up a lot recently in the media.   So if you don’t know what it is, you might find yourself asking what does it mean?  What is the big deal?  Well, it really is a big deal, that is unless money is of no object to you.   But to most of us, we care about our wallets and don’t want to be ripped off when Lord knows someone is trying to pull the wool over our...

2010 was the year of the Logo
